The Data safe feature is removed with the latest version of AVG Internet Security.
In this case, you need to install an older version of AVG Internet Security on your computer, restore all the files from data safe folder and then update to the latest version of AVG.
You can uninstall the latest version of AVG Internet Security from your computer control panel.
Click on this link to install version 18.3 from offline file (x64): https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/18-3-avg_internet_security_setup_offline.exe
- Choose custom installation – check Data Safe
- Go to the data safe component and export the necessary data.
Once this is done, you can restart your computer to update to the latest version of AVG.

Since AVG updated and removed the Mysafe tab is there anyway to open the folder now? Would have been nice to know they were going to get rid of it so I could have emptied the folder
