Hi,
Thank you for your analysis, but I have a question - If the data are clean, why does AVG say that many of my system files are infected with this malware?
AVG detected 50+ instances of Generic36.bahp before I installed any other anti-virus software. But some of the files supposedly infected were AVG files, so I uninstalled AVG.
I installed Avast and Avira to see if they would detect anything (they did not). Malwarebyte also did not find anything.
I then reinstalled AVG and ran some scans. AVG still found 50+ instances of Generic36.bahp.
At that point, I wasn't sure if AVG was wrong, or if the malware was just cleverly hiding from the other programs. So I posted here.
Are you saying that AVG has 50+ false detections of a trojan horse malware?
Would you like me to try uninstalling Avast, Avira, and Malwarebyte, and running your scans again?
Please let me know what I should do.
Diana, In order to analyze it please provide AVG with (http://avgclick.me/GMERScanResult) and (http://avgclick.me/scanresultexport).

Provided data are clean, for help on your issue please uninstall all other real time protection(Avast, Avira, etc).
Thanks
Hi, my AVG 2015 detected several instances of Generic36.bahp, and they seem to be in files that I don't want to go trying to manually delete. I've seen other users have had this issue - could someone please walk me through removing it?

Can someone give me an estimate as to when I should expect to hear back from AVG on what to do next?
Yes, it was false detection removed in 8940 update releases 2 days ago, if it is still detected please update your AVG.
Thanks
