I'm experiencing the same problems as Maureen, I have an Infinix Note twin Sim phone. Downloaded the AVG antivirus and anti theft… I inter changed my SIM cards before 24/12/2017 Christmas and behold am being requested for some pass codes which honestly speaking can't recall. To be Honest its been a terrible experience downloading this AVG. I have been to their websight to change pass code, and unlock phone, written to their support team and my phone and the only option am getting is to factory resset… No one wants to loose their information, and sentimental detail's… AVG you surely must have a way to sort this matter for your clientele… There should be something that is available to your users… frustrated client
I removed my sim cards from my phone but upon putting them back i couldnt access anything on the phone since i had forgotten the privacy protection password.I tried unlocking using avg but all it says is command successful but the phone is still locked ,i have tried following all other supposedly helpful links but to no avail.I would not like to factory reset my phone as i will loose a lot of important data.Please help…Thank you
