Nathan,
I completely understand your concern. Since you are using the 2017 version of AVG Ultimate program then please be informed that we are working on major update to find and implement best option for AVG Marketing popups. This process will take time but we assure you that it will be done as soon as possible.
However, you can try changing the duration for AVG popups from the settings. This will only limit the duration of campaign popups appearance.
Open AVG interface, click on Menu–>Settings.
On General window, right side you can find Popups, please click on arrow next to it.
It will show you the option to setup duration for all popups.
Please setup duration "0" for information popups alone.
Thank you.
Hello Nathan,
I regret for the inconvenience caused. Please check whether you Secure VPN tile in AVG Dashboard. If so, please try to install HMA Pro VPN by using this link https://www.hidemyass.com/downloads . After installing HMA Pro VPN on your PC, please check if you still encounter those campaign pop ups from AVG.
If so, please share the screenshot to assist you better.

I have AVG ultimate on multiple computers, and have purchased HMA VPN through AVG, yet I constantly receive popups from AVG on my desktop telling me to "secure your data from your ISP" with an upsell to purchase a VPN. I already have a VPN, so why spam me with this message?
Further to this, there are other upsell popups from AVG that distract and annoy.
Why spam paying customers? What's the point of paying for AVG if you continue spamming? I may as well use AVG free as the popups continue.
I'm actually considering cancelling all my subscriptions at this point if AVG doesn't change this idiotic strategy - whoever is in charge of marketing is not very good by the looks of things.

Stop with your copy paste bullshit answers... I've seen all the other threads where everyone complains of the same thing. Your next response will be to tell me "it is possible to change the frequency of the popups".
But it isn't, is it?
https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=How-to-Change-the-Frequency-of-Pop-Up-Notifications
The article above states that this solution only applies to older versions...
I have AVG Ultimate - what is the solution for me? There is no option to disable these popups, only "Silent Mode" which I understand doesn't stop the popups, but stops the important messages.
By the way, according to AVG, I have HMA! VPN installed.... so don't waste my time telling me to uninstall and reinstall.
If you do not provide me a solution, I will ask that you cancel all of my subscriptions.
It is pathetic that you are forcing lifelong clients to abandon this adware - why shoot yourselves in the foot?
My problem is all these popups!!! It's not only the VPN... its for all these other services.
I am a paying customer - I shouldn't be forced to have popup ads distracting my work.
How do I disable all these popups completely??
Changing the duration settings doesn't work, the ads still display for 30 seconds up to a minute, no matter what time setting you apply.
Hello Haw,
I am sorry to hear that the issue persists. Please send us the screenshot(http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the pop-up you receive, so we can escalate this case.
@ Haw stile
Haw, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
