How To Stop Pestering AVG Tuneup

Hi Andrew,

We're glad to look into this & help you.
Initially, please clarify the AVG program (name) in which you're notified about the performance issues & prompted to subscribe AVG TuneUp to fix the detected issues. Also, share us the screenshot of the pop up that you receive for better clarity.
Reason to inquire this being, we see that there are few business products available in your account as well.
Note : It isn't recommended to share the product details over this public post.

I have AVG Internet installed. When I launch a scan it ends up advising hundreds of issues, Click 'Resolve All' and I get a nasty popuup advising I can buy AVG Tuneup for 1 PC or 19 PC's.

I don't  want AVG Tuneuup - I have a competitve product which has a lifetime contract. When I DID install AVG Tuneup it argued with that 3rd party software abou what needed to be updated, which made it questionably useless.

So how do I switch off the AVG Tuneup?

Thank you for writing back to us, Andrew.

Upon checking your account, we can see that you have an active AVG Ultimate (Multi-Device) subscription bundle.
The AVG TuneUp is not an individual subscription under your account.
The AVG Ultimate (Multi-Device) subscription bundle includes AVG Internet Security, AVG TuneUp, AVG Secure VPN & AVG AntiTrack.
The AVG Internet Security blocks viruses and malware, keeps your emails secure, protects your personal files, passwords, and webcam from hackers, and lets you shop and bank online without worry.
Whereas, the AVG TuneUp is an optimization tool that includes a range of scans to detect unnecessary items and performance issues, freeing up disk space and improving the speed of your system.
If you don't wish to use AVG TuneUp, we'd request you to refer to this article & uninstall AVG TuneUp from your computer.
Let us know if you have further queries.

The business products are on the server.
This issue is with the clients, for which I have a 10 PC license.
It is very annoying that AVG finds issues which it then demands payment to fix - no cancel for the 1 or 10 PC license.

Thank you for writing back to us, Andrew.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
Please let us know what happened after installing AVG TuneUp program on your PC so that we will check and help you further.
Thank you.

Many thanks Midhun - just what I needed.

In case you are interested the other driver updater I use is at https://www.drivermax.com. I did try AVG TuneUp for a short time - and was surprised to find that reported driver updates were sometimes different to those shown by DriverMax. I didn't investigate further so I wouldn't know which might be better - but having ongoing updates from two different products didn't strike me as wise.
