Hi R,
That is exactly why there is http://www.avg.com/submit-sample so you can provide those information and our virus specialist evaluate it.
Thanks
R Pouwelsen, For removal info have you 'googled' remove torntv mystart search?..
No AV product is capable of providing you with 100% protection although AVG are always working 24/7.

That was 3 days ago, ,I got My dose of this clap today. how much time do you need to respond to a hijacking.
I have done it all, uninstall/remove/malwareremove/settings/etc.
Torntv and mystartsearch are not visible anymore after deleting/uninstalling as an "installed program" and therefore not easy to uninstall via the regular ways but still present and very $^%^((&.
Maybe it's possible for AVG to have this "thing" recognized as malware so it will not have a change to settle in your computer.
I have the latest version AVG 2015. After a download I've got Thorntv and as a startpage "mystartsearch" which I cannot get rid of.
I tried al kinds of malwareremovers but most of I was surprised that AVG allowed it to come on to my computer!
Without to much computerlanguage I would like to get help.
Thanks in advance.
