I have the paid version of AVG security.  Today I received the message that I needed to update my virus definitions.  I clicked to start the download and had a persistent message of DNS resolving.  I tried to go to Control Panel and chose Repair, but surprise–the DNS host is resolving.

I give up.  I've spend 1.5 hours on this and can't get help.  I logged in and went to support and get referred here again.  

There are better ways to provide customer service and better products.
