Thank you.

Every time I open my laptop, I get tons of popup notifications for email threats. I have turned off all notifications in the settings and that had no impact. From what I've read, this is a common issue. What can be done other than uninstalling AVG and finding a different product that will work without the extra annoyances?

Thank you for sharing the screenshots, Lance.

Could you specify whether you receive these threat messages when you try to access your email or when you receive any emails or at random?
Do you access your email using a particular email client program or from a web browser?
Do you recognize the sender email address that's being detected and suspect that these are false detections made by AVG?
Also, if you could click on "See Details" on the threat pop-ups and then share us the screenshots, it's be very helpful.
Awaiting your response.

Thank you.

These are tied to junk mail and any email from a mailing list, even if it's a list I choose to be included to receive. This is for almost every email I receive. I use Mail on my Mac. I don't think these are false detections, but I don't want them to pop up. I want this to work in the background without notifying me of every single email I receive. I've attached the details requested.

Will this always pop up or will is it possible to have it run in the background without constant notifications?
