I downloaded AVG Free Download but it did not come onto my desktop - Help

Please check whether AVG Antivirus free is listed on the program list.
You can follow the steps mentioned (here) to check the window where it will show the list of programs installed on your PC.
Keep me informed about the status.

I downloaded AVG Free Download Virus Protection, AVG sent me an  email…so that communicated it was successfully downloaded…but the Icon did not appear on the desktop.  I am trying to find it so I can schedule daily scans…
