I extended my subscription, but now I have in my accounttwo subscription running paralel and overlaping. I tried to contact somebody from AVG to help, because in the support portal it’s says so. But there is no way how to get in touch with somebody. It looks as if AVG tries to avoid any personal contact.
You’re correct they try to avoid contact at all costs. Your best bet is to not extend any subscription, uninstall anything that has to do with AVG from your computer and remove any payment methods attached to them. Then look online for a different company to deal with anti virus on your devices.
