In you case it make more sense to set up power option to hibernate/sleep your PC.

It would be nice if, after your computer is idle for some time the firewall would automatically go into block all feature so that you are not leaving your computer wide open when you are away or sleeping. I understand this keeps updates from happening but that is fine with me.
