I have AVG protection on my pc and have bought an iPad Air; I want to put AVG on this new device, but cannot find the instructions in the AVG software. Can anyone please help? Thanks

Hi Alan, thanks for your response to my query, I appreciate it.
I have looked at the two articles you mention, but when I go to the Apps Store as instructed, I'm given the choice of AVG Browser or AVG Family Safety;  I can 'GET' either of these, but it looks to me that if I go down this route I shall have to pay for a new subscription whereas the AVG software on my pc states that one subscription covers all my devices.
I had assumed I would be able to log into my AVG account on my iPad, download the software - licence recently renewed - and all would be well.  However, I have tried this and got the error message: "Download failed - Safari cannot download this file".
I have been an AVG user since 2008, but at the moment am completely stumped, so shall be extgremely grateful if you can advise me further.
