Hello Robert,

The slowness with internet speed with VPN turned on is an expected behavior.
This is because VPN encrypts traffic and data before sending it to a server.
Depending on the distance and capacity of the server, this process may cause a slightly slower, but safer, internet connection.
You can change the location in AVG Secure VPN and check whether you could see a change in internet speed.
Due to a recent update 20.1 released for AVG TuneUp, an issue occurred in accessing other applications.
Hence, we have released a fix and by this time you shouldn't experience the issue.
If you still experience it, please get connected with our additional support to resolve it.
An email instruction has been sent which would help you to get connected.
Thank you.

The loss of my bandwidth I found was caused by the AVG VPN installed on my system. Yesterday, another far more troubling problem has crept in. I could not open most of my programs. This I am positive was caused by your latest update. I notice many others having the same problem. O would like an immediate fix or a refund. This is causing a loss of performance on I machine I need.

I don't understand P2P. I have VPN disabled and the speed issue us temporarily mute. I still cannot use Excel, Word, etc. These are separate issues. I need them fixed.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused, Robert.
Did you try connecting to VPN server locations under P2P?
If that does not help, please get connected with our remote assistance team as per the email instructions for further assistance.

There was no fix, I am still getting the message "Windows could not find …" This has been a very negative experience!!
