If so, does it appear for all the browsers or any one of the browsers?
Could you share a screenshot (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=AVG-Create-screenshot&supportType=home) of the AVG threat detection popup by clicking on 'see details' from it?
You can post the screenshot by clicking on 'Image' (mountain symbol) on 'Answer' field.
Are you using AVG Antivirus free or paid version of AVG Internet Security?

So today I got a random popup saying the following:
"We've safely aborted connection on 2.tlu.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com because it was infected with Win32:KadrBot [Trj]"
When I looked deeper into it, it turned out to be a system file that was causing the issue.
C:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe
The web shield was the one who aborted the connection.
I was surprised but didn't think much of it until it started popping up again and again every 5-7 minutes or so. I have no idea what to do, I didn't visit any websites or download anything weird recently, the popup just kinda, popped itself onto my screen. Anyone has any idea as to what I should do?
