AVG Identity Protection Service…don't want it. Can't stop it. It consumes ridiculous amounts of resources, constantly. I changed to AVG more than 15 years ago when Norton and McAfee did the same…basically take over the computer. There was a saying "McAfee IS a virus." I'm there now with AVG. Seriously. This has been a reported problem with AVG for years and it's only getting worse.
