Identity Protection not active

Hi, Zbynek, the link given in you answer seems to have solved the problem, but now my question is, in my C:\ there is a now "Users" folder with a shortcut symbol. Does that mean that it has created a "Users" directory in my C:\ or is it just mirror of my D:\users folder. Thanks

Hi David,
It is probably because of moved User Directory, please refer to this post.
Thanks

Hi, I have done a fresh install of Windows 7 on my ASUS ux32, i5, 4gb ram, 32gb issd and 500gb mechanical hhd.

To save space on my 32gb issd I have relocated the "User" directory to the 500gb mechanical drive using a registery edit.

I installed AVG Free 2015 and have not been able to get the "Identity proctection" working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled using the packaged uninstaller, I have uninstalled using the uninstaller tool provided online and have also done a repair.

I have also tried searching online for other solutions but have had no joy.

I have run AVGSys_Info and have included the link. https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=9C43DA81E65F469B%21192

Any help would be great, thanks.

Hi David,
For all programs it looks like there is user folder in C but in reality all data are saved to D.
Thanks
