In August 1st I addressed the following question to the AVG community:
Since June 29th I have a new licenced AVG 2015 2 years subscription for one PC (operating with Windows 7). Two days now, every time I switch on my PC,  a warning signal "!" appears superimposed on the AVG icon (visible permanently in the toolbar at the botom of the screen). When I click on the icon I am informed that all AVG components are operating properly (green letters) except the "identity protection" (red letters) that is not active and I am prompted to fix it. Doing that, red letters turn to green, I am informed that I am fully protected and the "!" warning sign disappears from the AVG icon. This procedure however does not have a permanent effect. I have to repeat it  each time I switch on my PC. Is that normal?
I received a quick answer from an AVG expert. He recommended to visit an AVG site where instructions for repair can be found. I followed exactly the steps indicated there (downloading the AVG file for Windows [paid version] and executing the "repair" command). Unfortunatelly this procedure did not repair the problem.
Is there any better solution?
