Hey Alan,
No luck trying this suggestion either? Must be something that was set to "on" in a MS recent Windows 10 update?? Thanks for your efforts though.

I recently updated (at the direction of AVG) my free AVG for 2016. I now have an AVG home screen that says: "Identity" Not Protected in red. If I click on that icon it shows "identity protection disabled" EVEN THO the green slide bar is in the enabled position?? If I click on the fix now, it gives me a screen that says.: "Could not finish automatic state repair" Also says: "We weren't able to fix one or more componets"  It tells me to "go on line to learn more about the issue" but when I do that, there is no information regarding this issue that I can find?

Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.
