It appears that the program does not properly determine the screen parameters, and then it displays the notification screen in the lower right corner too far to the right, so the right side of the message box, where the X to close the box is, is simply off the screen.
And pressing alt-f4 to close it doesn’t seem to work either since you can’t really even select the message box to make it active.
