Import saved password file from AVG Browser

Hi Larry,

We're glad to look into this & help you.
Before proceeding, please clarify whether the passwords are available on any other browser.
If so, you can try the steps mentioned in this article to check if it helps.
Note : During the process of importing, please ensure that 'Saved Passwords' are checked (included).
If not, you can try importing passwords to your Google account (if you've any) & proceed.

Thanks Dinesh, followed the steps on importing the saved AVG csv file I created before uninstalling the AVG browser, then imported the file into Chrome browser after logging into Google. Clicked on the sync files and managed to then import all bookmarks and passwords from Google Chrome into my AVG browser.

I'm now very happy that all my passwords are saved. (and bookmarks)

To anyone else reading this that requires help. Always backup the bookmark and passwords from AVG secure browser before uninstalling the browser  and then reinstalling. Then it's just a matter of clicking here and there from the Google Chrome browser to import the saved files you exported from the AVG browser before uninstalling it. Once in the Chrome browser, all that was left to do was to import all files back into the AVG browser.

Is it possible to import passwords to avg browser from a csv I exported from avg browser before an uninstall/ reinstall?  I ended up having to uninstall my AGV browser as I wasn't able to open any saved bookmark or enter a new web page site. So I reinstalled the AVG browser and tabs now load. I even bookmarked all my bookmarks before uninstalling. And also exported the Password csv file from the AVG browser. But cannot find where to now import that saved file like I did the bookmark files. All my bookmarks are restored. I just need to import the csv file that the AVG browser created before I uninstalled it.

Please help!

Thank you for writing us back, Larry.
We're glad that your issue got resolved.
Stay safe and healthy!!
