I can no longer connect to AVG for updates for updates, including update of the program itself. After following instructions given here (disabling and enabling the connection, and then repairing the program and restarting) I now get a message saying "Ul failed to load…AV Service is not responding" can anyone help? I am Windows 10 64-bit.

We apologize for the inconvenience created by this situation. Please follow the below instructions to uninstall and reinstall your AVG Internet Security - Unlimited to fix this issue:
1. Download and run AVG Clear tool: https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe. This tool will help with removing antivirus component of AVG 2017 and its traces.
2. Open tool
3. User Account control - click "Yes"
4. Windows safe mode - click "No" (we cannot recommend use the tool in safe mode, because there is a problem with compability)
5. Choose installed version (AVG Free, AVG Internet Security)
6. Click "Uninstall"
7. Click "Restart computer" (1/3)
