Recently renewed licence but keep getting the above error and referred to proxy settings.

Thanks for your response.  AVG have just completed a lengthy investigation into my problem and they have now handed back my PC with my AVG system working.  Sorry for creating multiple questions but have been trying to resolve my problem for several days and was getting very frustrated.
