Was trying to install Internet security on new Windows 10 laptop and kept gertting an error message, decided to upgrade to AVG Protection and still getting an error message when trying to install:

Description: Event exec_finished

Teresa, Don't forget to use the McAfee total remover (http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe).

Same problem here. After W10-update AVG Internet Security failed on Web-surf and E-mail security. So I de-installed AVG Internet Security, but now it will not install again. It stops everytime at the end with errorcode 0xC0070643. I tried everything…please help…
