I'm sorry to hear about this. Could you share a screenshot of the File locked indication to assist you further. You can post the screenshot here on your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

I installed AVG ultimate on my Windows 7 64-Bit PC 02/16/18;
- Editing photo using Adobe Photoshop
- Tried to save photo after editing & file locked indicated
- Went to file location/Properties/General/No indication file was locked (How do I unlock file ?)
- Why indication file locked ?
Did not have this issue before installing AVG Ultimate !
At this point thinking I may want to go back to AVG Free & Iolo System Mechanic. I don't need these kind of issues.

It seems that you have blocked this application by AVG.
Please open AVG Internet Security. click on "Hacker Protection". select "Open" next to "Ransomware Protection". Select "Allow/Block" list.
Check if this Adobe application is listed under blocked list. If it is, please remove the same and check if that fix the issue.
