Hi Terje,
Sorry to know that. This issue can be fixed by using the AVG Reset Access tool. Please follow the steps in this article to get this issue fixed ( http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Message-Verify-that-you-have-sufficient-privileges-when-installing-AVG ).
Please do not hesitate to get back to us for further assistance. Thank you.
When I try to install AVG Internet Security the process stops at this message "stopping services" under the process bar. Then after a while I get another message "Service 'AVG Firewall' (avgfws) could not be stopped, Verify that you have sufficient privileges to stop system services."
Can anyone hgelp me?
Terje
Terje, Have a look @ this article (http://avgclick.me/prepareforAVGinstall). After the normal McAfee uninstall download & run the McAfee total removal tool… (http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe).

Hello Terje,
I apologize, as I understand you have installed both AVG and MacAfee in same system, is that right? Please feel free to get back to us. Thank you.
