Jaap, Did you doownload & run the McAfee total removal tool (http://us.mcafee.com/apps/supporttools/mcpr/mcpr.asp)?. When you download & install AVG Internet Security Windows Defender will be disabled.

I have the paid version of AVG Internet Security valid til Feb 2017, which I try to install on a new lap top. This fails every time with an error code: Oxc0070643. I have removed McAfee but I'm not able to remove Windows defender.
Any advise?
