Please follow the below steps to check if the AVG Internet Security is installed in your computer:
Control Panel > Programs and Features > Program List > Check if you can locate AVG Internet Security in that list.
Also, kindly check & mention if you're using another Antivirus program in your computer.

The screen always freezes halfway through the process of installing AVG Internet Security. I cannot tell if it has been installed or not. I presume not but if so, why not?
