Hi, I have to say I am now extremely disappointed with AVG. I have been a customer for a long time, and was getting feed up with the advert prompts on AVG 2018 fully paid license (win 10) - this is wrong, that's an issue etc, so I thought, OK I will upgrade. Well in an instant, after paying more for all the "additional" features, all that has happened is a certain kill on my net connection. I was used, via ethernet, to a steady constant +60mps connection (pretty good in rural UK I think). Well, after AVG Ultimate I am lucky to get 20mps and my upload is a meagre 2mbps. My internet experience is now rather sad and painful. The difference is totally ridiculous!. Web pages (video) are slow to load and now buffer all the time. Having trawled here, I have disabled this, turned that off - as per suggestions, but no improvement., so much so the "additional features" are basically disabled, yet my net connection functions as, back in the day of carrier pigeons …
I know my issues are solely related to AVG, 1) all was fine before upgrade, 2) I have a second PC, that doesn't use AVG, and still has a full and hearty net connection speeds. Oh dear, what a shame, I am seeing others raising this issue, but I am not finding a workable solution. If I cannot find a resolution that doesn't involve a long call that will blame everything else other than AVG. How do I get a full refund? (License now runs to Aug 2022). I being left left will no choice but to remove AVG from my PC, which I am disappointed in…
