Internet Explore V11 for WIN& not working

Gulam I apologize for the seperation in my response but I had touble uploading the image. I am not as swift as I used to be. As you will note IE is on the taskbar and when you right vlivk on it you get the above image.
Clicking on the IE portion of the tab brings up a circulating vblue image (loading) but it does not appear on the screen hence no shot of it. There is really no message that I am aware of unless you can direct me to look elsewhere.
Again I apologize for the difficulty in explaining this to you.

I do noy know if it is coincedental or not but 2 days after my IE stopped working I received a telephone call telling me that my system was causing problems and the caller could fix it. My immediate thought was that I was hacked and I turned to my AVG system and performed a computer scan with everything turned on. AVG found a number of tracking cookies which it put into the vault.
However, my problem is not fixed my IE still refuses to load and as my default browser it is causing me no end of grief. I have contacted the Microsoft community but there are no answers of yet. I am wondering if anyone in the AVG community had a similar problem and if they have any ideas on how I should proceed.
Any inofrmation would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Dominic,
Have you tried to open some-other browser's like Google chrome, Firefox?
Are you experiencing same issue with those Browser's?
Thank you.

Gulam,
I noticed this morning that my AVG Tune-up had been udated. I checked to see if IE was disabled but it was not listed so I assume that it is not. To answer your last questions the only programme that does not work is IE. I went through the list and tried every programme and it functions perfectly.
I am at a loss as to what is happening.
Thanks for your continued support.
Dominic

Thank you, Gulam for your quick response. Disabling AVG temporarily seemed to work. Howver, I need to know what I can do because I do not wish to be without my AVG. Any suggestions?
