Have you disabled AVG Internet Security temporarily and confirmed that the issue is with AVG?
May I know the version of your AVG internet security program, is it 2015 or 2016?
I noticed that another AVG user had a similar problem to mine. My Internet Explorer in WIN7 will not execute from the task bar or the start menu when AVG is running. I have the Internet seurity version. I followed the reply I found in the recent question posed by the user and made my IE an exception for AVG under Advanced Settings. However, my problem still remained - IE could not execute while AVG was running.
Any suggestions?
