I've also been having this, and it's very annoying as it minimises whatever I'm doing like gaming!

I appreciate the free software, but I get your pop up message for Internet Security EVERY TIME i boot up my computer, even when I say I'm not interested. Is this going to persist forever? Wouldn't it be smart to have a cookie that suppresses it after I've told you about two dozen times that I'm not interested? Is there any way to disable it except for uninstalling Anti-Virus?

Neil,
We do understand how difficult this is for you. Could you please provide us the screenshot http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot of the popup you are getting?
Also, you have the option to change the frequency settings of the popup. Please refer this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-Change-the-Frequency-of-Pop-Up-Notifications to reduce the frequency settings. Thank you!
