Internet Security problem

This is a known issue which has already been reported to our developers and they are working on a fix.
Rest assured, it is just the user interface having the issue but all shields are actively protecting your PC in background. Appreciate your understanding and patience.

My AVG antivirus is failing to load the UI.  When you hover the mouse over the icon you get a message saying "You are Unprotected" and when you try to open it the message says "UI Failed to load.  This is really embarrassing.  Your protection is running, but the UI is having a really bad day.  Exit". 

Can you help?

Hello… I experienced this problem, too, beginning shortly after midnight, 2/5/21. I just tried the recommended fix and the Internet Security UI reappeared immediately.  Thank you for the suggestion.

Hello, thanks for your response. Tried your suggestion and so far it seems to have worked. Internet security now showing green "you are fully protected".  Many thanks.
