Hi - I used to have AVG Internet Security 2016, installed on several laptops. When I wanted to scan, I hit the AVG shortcut on each laptop and the scan started.
I've just bought Internet Security Unlimited and I'm a bit confused. I have installed the software on my main PC, and sent "invitations" to my two laptops. Am I right in saying that I do not use the individual laptops to do the scans, but instead the scans can only be started remotely by using the interface on my main PC ?
If this is the case, and noting the AVG shortcut on my laptops are still there (but seemingly do nothing), can I delete the laptop shortcuts as everything is done via my main PC ?
Many thanks - I don't think I realised that this new product was so different to the old one !
Hello Andrew, We apologize for any inconvenience caused, there is no need to delete AVG icon from your other system desktop. You can just scan your system from the main AVG Zen window if the both systems will be connected to internet. However, I see that you have purchase AVG Internet Security - unlimited and you can install it for your all windows systems, mac systems and android devices. You can use this program as you ware using AVG Internet Security. It just included AVG Zen to see your other systems protection and install AVG Internet Security for multiple devices. Thank you.
Hi Alok - many thanks, to clarify, are you saying I can use the standard install process on each laptop (as oppoed to using the "Invite") and, this way, I can initiate and control scans on each individual laptop as opposed to running them all from my desktop PC ?
Thanks again
Hello Andrew, You can download and install AVG Internet Security - unlimited from AVG MyAccount or you can send invitation from your main AVG Zen window and follow that email to install it on their system. If you will install it from your AVG MyAccount then you will be having all AVG Zen as administrator. Thank you.
