Hi, I'd been running the free trial of Internet Security 2015 on an XP laptop for about 3 weeks with no issues but now I've applied a license code the program can no longer get updates, the error message reads 'Sorry we couldn't reach our update server'.
The licesnse was registered on-line with AVG and accepted by the program with no problems.
I have a good internet connection ( ADSL over wi-fi ).
I have read all the relevant articles in the knowledge base and followed the instructions in those, the problem persists.
Another laptop using the same network & internet connection is running the free AVG Antivirus software and that one is getting updates no problem, I've compared the settings of the two laptops in AVG Internet Security 2015 > Options > Advanced Settings > Update and both laptops are set-up exactly the same, and as I said at the start the program was working correctly during the free trial period, I've even tried a second license code from a different vendor, the problem persists…
Any suggestions anyone ??
Thanks
Craig
