Pop Up Box Can’t Minimize. I change different display monitors often via HDMI cable. Frequently the pop-up notification in the bottom right hand corner shows itself and is unable to be minimzed because the little x top right is off the screen because of a display resizing issue. But this is only with avg. I use multiple other apps and even have for malware bytes never gives me this issue with their pop-up. Please fix this issue. Everytime I go to technical support they want to connect to my computer and uninstall / reinstall. This is ridiculous. Latest tech support they sent me a link to connect remotely via rescueme and the link didn’t even work. This is an ongoing issue, is very annoying and several times i can not click on any dialog box to open the avg system to get rid of the avg pop up notification. This time minimize all app screens won’t even minimize this annoying pop up box.
Please learn to duplicate issues in your engineering / technical department so you can get some competent programming
can’t screen shot it because it disappears but then comes back after sizing the screenshot… this needs to be escalated because this is the last time i’m using this product unless this is resolved.
I'm just throwing this out there, basically because there's no place to register a complaint. I don't require any action on this, it's just for general information. I've had AVG for a long time, both antivirus and Internet Security. I've already cancelled antivirus, and now I will not renew Internet Security. These products started out great, but over the years, they've become more and more intrusive. My biggest complaint is receiving notifications when in full screen gaming mode, and the inability to close these notifications, requiring a game restart. Perhaps I DO have outdated drivers, but I have other means of keeping them up to date, I don't need AVG trying to sell me more products. And yes, I have ALL notifications turned OFF in Internet Security, and yet I still get these pop-ups. This was even a bigger problem with Antivirus, which led to my cancellation. I get that you have to sell stuff. But I'm not your ATM, and your heavy-handed hijacking of my computer's time, and my time, to blast me with ads is not what I'm paying you for. You've lost a 10+ year customer.
