Invalid license notification on reinstallation

AVG PC TuneUp is the old version of optimization tool and we have released a new version for optimization and increase the performance of the PC.

Regarding AVG Secure VPN subscription, I will send an email explaining it as we're advised not to provide it in public post.

Im getting an "invalid license" notification for AVG PC Tune up which was paid for but we had to uninstall and reinstall. Why? Its bad enough that it is advertised as free…it isn't. My AVG VPN subscription (under a different email address) doubled in price upon renewal without notification. AVG used to be a trustworthy company. What happened?
