iOS VPN causing connection issues with Apple Music, Siri, App Center, cloud apps

Have been having issues lately on my iPhone with cloud driven apps working, including Siri, Apple Music, any app that has to connect to the internet to work. 
This has become an issue this last week or two. 
I'm not sure if this is related to iOS 16.2 or if AVG released an update to AVG-VPN lately. 

Self-Troubleshooting Steps:
Changed over to airplane mode for ~1 minute. (not fixed)
Restarted phone (not fixed)
I disabled AVG VPN and all of my apps began working as expected again. (WORKING)

NOTES- I reenabled vpn for AVG Web Protection and is working fine. 
I reenabled Personal VPN and immediately couldn't use Siri, Apple Music, App Center, etc.

iPhone 11 Pro
iOS 16.2
