Is AVG Internet Security appending -s- LIKELY SPAM to the Subject field entry on incoming mail?

I often send out blind copy recipient Newsletters addressed to myself which go through another server before coming back to me.  When my own announcement arrives in my mailbox some of them have the Subject title appended with -s- LIKELY SPAM in the header.  I can find nowhere in the Email protection documentation where that particular phrase is mentioned, although it does something similar for SPAM detection measured against a percentate which I set at 90%.  These are my own messages being classified as Likely SPAM which is rather annoying.  I have checked everywhere else and it seems LIKELY that my AVG protection is the culprit for this problem. I am using Mozilla Thunderbird for my computer based email processing, and this started to occur a couple of months ago, so I assume it is due to a change in the AVG software which updates automatically.  Thunderbird has been ruled out as they absolutely claim that they do not use the word SPAM at all, and only make reference to JUNK mail in their software system.  Has anyone experienced this problem and can you point me to a solution to keep it from happening?  I even tried turning off the email protection, but it still generated the warning in the Subject header.

Thanks.  Ken

Hello Kenneth,
Thank you for trying the steps given in article.
Please be informed that after disabling AVG and still if you are facing the same issue, then the issue is not with AVG. We request you to contact your email client for help. They will assist you better, as we are not trained in this domain we are unaware of it. Thank you for understanding. Your patience is much appreciated.

Thanks for your reply and I suppose you will like the results although it leaves me in the dark.  I tested it 3 times with the same message, with AVG on, AVG off but Firewall on, and AVG completely off.  All 3 instances returned the message to me with the appended Subject: field.  Of course, logic tells me that AVG could not be responsible, right?  I will now investigate the two servers that handle the mail and follow the path to determine where the subject is appended, and why.  Sorry to have bothered you, but thanks for reminding me how to completely verify that AVG was not the culprit.
