Proceed to uninstall the AVG program one by one and check the status after each program uninstallation.

I am trying to determine if my AVG suite is affecting my CPU and/or browsing speed. When the AVG is running, my browsing speed for Google Chrome and Firefox is really slow. I am also experiencing long wait times for the laptop to boot up. Is AVG affecting this? If so, is there a way to repair the issue? My laptop is a Lenovo Ideapad with i5 core and 8 GB Ram.

Thank you for responding to my browsing speed issue. I removed AVG Ultimate, AVG driver updater, and AVG Internet security. I have tried several times to remove AVG Web Tune Up, but it will not uninstall. After removing these programs, the computer starts up much quicker. However, the Google Chrome and Firefox browsers are still slow to load. Internet Explorer loads slightly faster than the other two.
I am trying to figure out where to go from here. I have spent significant time on this and frustration is setting in. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide.

We appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue. When you turn on your PC, AVG service will get enabled to give you a real time protection. That's why you might have faced a slow startup.

Regarding your browser issue, you can try with the re-installation and check if that helps.
