Is it possible to use AVG Antivirus alongside other security software for added protection?

Hello Nael,
You've reached the AVG social media support channel.
I highly recommend you that only one antivirus program installed on your computer. Having more than one antivirus on the computer can cause many different issues. Often the most common issue being a confliction between the different antivirus program causing your computer to become unprotected. It also slows down your computer fighting for your computer resources.

If you have two antivirus program running simultaneously, they could engage in a tussle over who gets to scan, report, and remove the virus. This added activity could cause your computer to crash or use up your device's memory.

I hope this will help.

Thank you for understanding.

Hi, I've been a long-time user of AVG Antivirus and have always been impressed with its performance. Recently, I've been considering supplementing my security setup with an additional antivirus program. Can AVG seamlessly coexist with other security software to provide an extra layer of protection? Are there any specific recommendations or best practices for doing so?

If you know about it, please suggest so I can make a better decision.

Thanks,
Nael
