I am considering buying AVG license to enable ransomware protection. But I need to know a few things before I decide to buy it.

1. Does this mean that AVG will keep a backup of my files so that I can recover from a ransomware attack? Is there a limit on the file size?

2. Considering ransomware is also a worm, doesn't the normal antivirus feature stop / block it?
