The new version of AVG secure brower added the annoying side-bar to the left or the right of the screen. It serves little purpose to me and take out some space from my web page. Is there a way to completely turn it off? Any help is appreciated.

What use is a community if its members cannot answer questions or help resolve issues raised by other members? I have noticed that quite a few people have asked about removing the side panel from the AVG Secure Browser, but I cannot find any answers on that topic. I totally agree with them that the side panel is useless and serves little purpose other than taking up unnecessary space. Is there anyone in our community who can help?

You can hide the Side Panel by clicking on the side panel icon in the top-right corner. After that, click on the toggle button next to “Show Side Panel”.
