Is there an option to stop AVG from treating its user like fucking idiots?

Hello Lam,
We regret for the inconvenience caused. Could you please confirm whether the AVG program has detected legitimate files as infections eventhough ignored from your end?
We kindly request you to follow the instructions provided below and check whether all setting of the AVG program has been set properly :
1. Open AVG program.
2. Click on option on the right top corner and click on advanced settings.
3. Click + button before the Computer Protection and select Antivirus.
4. On the right panel please check the checkbox "Ask me before removing threats" and click on OK to save changes.
Also please follow the instructions on the article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-restore-or-remove-file-from-the-Virus-Vault to restore the files from the virus vault.
Thank you.

I don't need an anti-virus that completely ignores my administrative rights. No, AVG may not delete a file it believes to be a virus. No, AVG, is not suppose to disable a file it thinks is a virus. No, if I said NO, IGNORE, do as I said.
I don't need an anti virus to decide things for me. It is, like any good anti virus, is suppose to advise, and obey.

Lâm, Also, in future, if you wish to continue posting on the AVG Support Community please refrain from using foul language.
