I checked for updates for Windows7 and the PC was already updated, I run the PC performance and an update has been performed.
I restarted the PC, than I installed AVG AntiVirus FREE downloading the latest version from your site, but after the installation and restarting the PC the same problem occured, the PC slowdown internet and all Office tools, long time to reboot, AVG show the same errors reported on May 29th.
I unistalled again the AVG and the PC back to normal.
Let me know if you have more suggestions to solve this problem.

I request you to check for the conflicting application/any other antivirus application installed in your PC and repair your AVG AntiVirus FREE by following steps.
1. Press your window key and type "appwiz.cpl" and hit "Enter"
2. Here you can see the list of installed applications in your PC.
3. Uninstall the conflicting antivirus (If found).
4. Uninstall the AVG AntiVirus FREE and click "Uninstall".
5. Now select repair and continue.
6. Restart your PC and verify it.
Also I request you to update your AVG AntiVirus FREE and Virus definition to the latest version.

thank you for your reply, I followed steps 1. to 3. but no other antivirus conflicting antivirus found.
I repaired the AVG AntiVirus FREE, same problem, than I unistalled using "avgclear" with the PC in safe mode, I dowloaded the latest AVG AntiVirus FREE, but the problem is always the same, the PC slowdown internet and all Office tools, long time to reboot, and opening AVG the following message appears:

Sorry, that refresh didn't work, but you are still protected.
Try restarting your computer, or repair your installation > but after the "repair your installation" option the message "Repair failed"
For your information my PC is a desktop running with W7 Professional 64 bit, and last February I fixed the same issue unistalling the AVG AntiVirus FREE using "avgclear" in safe mode than intalling again the AVG AntiVirus FREE.
Actually I need to unistall AVG and the PC is running well, so please let me know if you have more instruction to fix this issue.

yes the PC slowdown issue is resolved when AVG is uninstalled.
As suggested, I run the AVG Clear tool in normal mode, I restarted the PC and then installed AVG again, after the installation the AVG is running well and I can scan the PC, but after the next restarting the issue is always the same, AVG stop working and the PC slow down !
Let me know if you have more instruction or I cannot install AVG anymore.

since today I have problem with AVG AntiVirus FREE installed on my PC, the AVG could not be open and the PC shutdown or restart is very long ( it takes 15 minutes ), basically same issue I had last February. I need to boot my PC in safe mode and launch the avgclear program and I disinstalled AVG, but after installing AVG the same issue occured again.
Now I temporaly disinstalled the AVG which probably has some updating issue.
Please let me know any suggestion to fix and install again AVG AntiVirus FREE.

Just to clarify, is the PC slowdown issue resolved when AVG is uninstalled? If yes, I would request you to run the AVG Clear tool in normal mode (click No when it asks to boot in safe mode).
Restart your PC and then install AVG again. We also recommend that you consider upgrading to latest version of Windows operating system as Microsoft has no longer provide updates for Windows 7.

My colleague had asked you to update the operating system of your computer from Windows 7 Professional to either Windows 8.1 or Windows 10.
We recommended that you perform this as Microsoft is no longer providing updates for Windows 7 operating systems.
Let us know if the issue still persists after updating your operating system.
