Will the sales people know more than the community? I had thought that some community members would have gone through this process already and might give me the benefit of their experience.

I've just renewed my licence. I got an instruction to go round each computer and enter a new licence number. Is this really required? Can't the application check that I've renewed? Why can't AVG set a flag against my account to permit access to virus signatures?
It all seems very clunky
