I am also getting a similar popup.
Having the same issue here with my partners' computer. When opening Outlook and pressing send/receive the same message appears with the warning box, and the only way to make it stop is to restart the computer and not open Outlook.
I've done a full format and re-install of the complete OS and all software but the moment we try to send/receive the same thing appears. Also completely removed all the data pst files thinking there was something within those files but having the same problem again.
I am having the same problem. It started a few weeks ago. I succeeded in gaining a few quiet days by repairing Office 365. But the "threats" are back, with gusto. I know I'm receiving spam with attachments, and will soon close a couple of accounts that are clearly targetted.

Hello Sticks,
In future please refrain from carrying out multiple topic postings on the same subject! You won't obtain an answer to your query any faster, also please try to keep the whole conversation in one question/thread to speed up any resolution. Please see your other posting ( Java:Malware-gen [Trj] | AVG ).

I have the same problem. It seems to launch as soon as I open Thunderbird. After that multiple AVG pop-ups occur stating that the Threat has been secured, even after Thunderbird has been closed. However AVG pop-ups continue to appear several times apparently not solving the problem. Performing a whole computer scan with AVG does not find any problems! This is causing a lot of difficulty for me. Can AVG get rid of this Java:Malware-gen [Trj] problem?
