Hi Jan,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
Would you be so kind to share us the screenshot of the pop up that you receive after clicking on 'See details' that is available in the pop up?
It would let us know the component that is causing the issue.
Thank you so much! I have attached the screenshot.
Also, I don't know if this is connected or not, but this started happening around the same time: When I start my computer I get a window with this url: windows\system32\windowspowershell\v1.0\powershell.exe.

I've suddenly been getting a pop up that says that AVG "safely aborted connection on us14.admin.mailchimp.com because it was infected with JS:Downloader-FVX[PUP]. I cannot finish what I am doing because I keep getting kicked out of MailChimp because of it.
It is not a problem on MailChimp's end, and I ran a virus scan on my computer and nothing shows up.
How do I resolve this problem? Thank you for any help.
Jan
Hello Trog,
Let's have a look into this together.
Does this pop-up occur randomly or it happen when you surf the internet?
Please let us know the version of AVG Internet Security (Open AVG > Menu > About) installed on your PC to assist further.
Thank you.
I first received the message when I was using MailChimp (MC) but I chatted with them and it's not a MailChimp problem. I've since had problems with it coming up while doing other things but did not take a screenshot of them.
Re: MC, I also tried to use a different browser than Chrome and also received the same problems.

Thank you for providing the screenshot, Jan.
Do you receive this pop up when you try to load Mailchip website on your browser? Did you try to load the website in a different web browser?
Thank you for the information, Jan.
Since it is the threat detection popup, we request you to get further assistance from our additional support.
An email instruction has been sent which will help you to get connected with them.
