Also, now I uninstalled Chrome to try to reinstall it. I was using MS Edge to download a new Chrome file. Now the PUP virus has attached itself to the Edge browser.
It pops up with almost every website I go to or email I click on. Mailchimp, Infusionsoft, etc. I tried to attached an image of the pop-up here but cannot. Any thoughts on how I can get rid of this for good? Thank you.

We're sorry to know that, Jan. In this regard, we'd suggest you to try running a boot time scan using AVG. To do so : Open AVG - Click on gear icon beside Scan computer - Click on Install below Boot time scan - Run on next reboot - Restart computer.
Before proceeding to run a boot time scan, ensure that you've set AVG to fix the unwanted applicatons automatically. To do so : Open AVG - Menu - Settings - Basic protection - Detections - Under 'What to do with', click on Potentially unwanted programs & choose Fix automatically.
Our pleasure, Jan. We appreciate your efforts. Thank you for updating the status. Have a great day!
