JS:Nimda-B [Trj] not deletable

Hello Sreedevi and Alan,
Below is a screenshot of the threat detected, very similar to the linked question. Thanks for the link Alan, unfortunately this link was the question I found when doing my research and after uninstalling and reinstalling AVG there's no change.

Cheers all.

On my Mac I have the free AVG Antivirus software installed and Realtime Protection on, however last night after completing a full scan out of habit, a threat was found called JS:Nimda-B [Trj].

I tried putting it in quarantine, to which it said cannot be moved to quarantine. When I clicked delete, and then confirmed it, the program said it could not be deleted but that 'access was blocked'.

I did research, and found little, except advice to uninstall and reinstall AVG, which I did. After two more scans, JS:Nimda-B [Trj] is still appearing and I am unable to remove it. Why is AVG unable to delete it and is there other software capable of deleting it? Should I delete it manually?
