The update I installed today, but it could be, that the plugin ist from the installtion 1-2 month before. Therefore, shall I deinstall the addin? May be it is an old one.

We have received this complaint from few of our customers.
Are you sure that you have installed AVG Antivirus free on your PC or is it trial version of AVG Internet Security program?
I request you to disable each component in AVG antivirus settings and confirm us which components is showing the error for Outlook.
Open AVG Antivirus, click on "Menu–>Settings–>Components"
Slide the green cursor of each component to the left for turning off.
Keep us informed about the status.

The update from today (AVG free, XP PRO, OL2010) causes Outlook to crahs during starting until I disable the AVG plugin. Any help?

… I deleted the addin and in the registry the entry for the deactivated addin. Seems to work fine.

Tx for your fast reply. I've the AVG free version installed. Disabling all service as you proposed still causes a crash of OL2010. Only when I disable the AVP plugin in Outlook 2010 I'm able to start OL.

May I know when was AVG add-in installed on Outlook?
The reason is the latest 17.9 version doesn't install AVG add-in for Outlook.
